Great post! In most jurisdictions sump pumps exit into storm drains, not sanitary sewer systems. Laundry most likely empties into the sanitary sewer system but in some cases leach fields like Pump Area can handle the laundry. Toilets, sinks, dishwashers and utility sinks drain into the sanitary sewer. Thanks:)
